It is
one of the oldest theatres still surviving with a classic
grace. A lot happened in this venue's more than half a
century history. Countless artists, musicians, actors,
poets, playwrights, choreographers etc. of the country are
or have been mentioned as original products of this theatre
which still stands proud as the nation's biggest and most
professional stage for cultural performances - the Ethiopian
