disagree with the statement made in last week’s editorial
[Volume 8, Number 377, July 22, 2007]: “The pardon is an
example of the checks in the constitutional order that allow
the executive branch to intervene when the judicial branch
is not sufficient to take into consideration the extent of
its actions’ implications.” |
