Bekele Mekonnen-Awarded Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant

Ethiopian painter, poet, sculptor and lecturer at the School of Fine Arts and Design at Addis Abeba University (AAU), Bekele Mekonnen, was recently awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant worth 20,000 dollars. Charles Bergman, chairman of the Foundation, announced the award in New York on February 20, 2007.
